John Damon

I am a Senior computer science animation emphasis student at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT.  I currently work as a CS Research Assistant under Seth Holladay, one of the BYU animation faculty, working in the area of FLIP fluid effects.  In addition, I have worked in various positions of interest closely related to my field of study and interest including Effects Teaching Assistant, Lead Effects Artist, and Effects Artist for both BYU Animation and BYU Broadcasting.   At BYU Broadcasting, I worked on seasons 10 and 11 of Studio C, a comedy sketch show produced by BYU TV.

My hobbies include watching movies and television shows.  I am a huge Star Wars fan.  Currently, after finishing Andor, I am enjoying the new Willow series on Disney Plus.   Also, when I am not making beautiful effects, you can find me in the kitchen baking gourmet cheesecakes to share with my family and friends.
